| BOSPO and CRS ( Catholic
Relief Services ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding
in December of 2002. This agreement created channels for information
sharing between the two organisations. It also resulted in the
implementation of joint projects to promote the shared values of
BOSPO and CRS.
BOSPO and CRS firstly co-operated to influence and aid in the creation
of BiH's Development
Strategy (Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper–PRSP). As a
result of the partnership's activities in the early development of
the strategy, BOSPO and CRS are well informed and prepared for additional
participation during the implementation and monitoring stages of this
strategy. (Refer to PRSP link for additional information). The partnership secondly mobilised to implement an advocacy project
“Building Partnerships for Good Governance in BiH”. (Refer to Advocacy link
for additional information). This project has empowered citizens and
government throughout BiH to work together to implement positive changes
and policy reforms. In 2004, BOSPO and CRS will implement two joint
projects; “Creating a Regional PRSP Community of Learning” and “Building
Citizen/Government Relationships through PRSP”.
